The Assisi Project
The Assisi Project is a collaborative project of Mary Garrahy (MLG Creative) and Michael O'Donoghue. These first 16 cards, launched October 2011, make up the premiere card range from MLG Creative.
St. Francis of Assisi
St. Francis is the patron saint of animals.
His Feast day is October 4th, which has been declared World Animal Day. St Francis teaches us that all of creation is part of Gods work, and Franics loved all of creation.
"For it is in giving that we receive..."
Assisi is a town and commune of Italy in the Province of Perugia. It was the birthplace of St. Francis, who founded the Franciscan religious order in the town in 1208.
Photographs used in these cards were taken by Mary Garrahy in 2006 when she visited Assisi.

We are proud to present our new range of cards, inspired by Assisi and the spirit of St. Francis. Our cards are specifically designed for Baptism, Confirmation, Communion, Sympathy, Weddings and Special Occasions.
Photographs used in these cards were taken by Mary Garrahy in 2006 when she visited Assisi. Through the production of these cards we hope to share the special spirit and beauty of Assisi and its landscape. The Assisi Cards line is hoped to be the first of many other lines of cards and art/giftware.
